How can I be a better Libero to my team?

I've been playing volleyball for 7 years and I absolutely love it. I have never played on a club team (I want to, I just can't afford it). I believe my two strongest points are my serving and my digging. Last year was the first time I was actually put into a game as a Libero and I continue to serve as my high school's Libero. Unfortunately, we got a new coach (and she's not very good) and I don't think she's putting me in when I need to be in. I don't know whether she thinks my skills are shabby.. Or what. I prefer to be a very aggressive player. I'm not afraid to run into people or dive on the floor- anything to get a ball in the air to my setter. I'm very loud and competitive on my team. How can I prove my skills to my team and most importantly my coach so I can get more playing time? Also, if you have any exercises for improving vertical jump would be appreciated. I'm only 5 feet and I cannot play the front row unless I improve my vertical leap. Thanks!

Pain from playing guitar in Intermediate Phalanges?

Hi there. I've been playing guitar for about a year and a half now. About 6 months ago i was experiencing really bad pain on my fretting hand (left). it was between my pink and ring knuckles. That pain is gone now. where im feeling pain is called the intermediate phalanges. its on my ring finger and on the middle part of it. below the fingernail and above where a wedding ring usually goes. Has anybody ever experienced this? it especially hurts when i try to fret a chord or whatever.

My nail polish cracks after I paint my nails?

Every time I paint my nails (in a french manicure) the polish cracks the next day. I let them dry and set, I have tried different clear coats, different white polish brands, I make sure my fingernails are clean before I paint them...I do everything! But for some reason, the day after I paint them they start to get cracks in the paint. And by the 4th or 5th day, they are completely cracked and it bugs me. What's the deal, and how can I fix/prevent it?

Do you think marching band is a sport?

I don't think I have ever heard a good argument for this one. I have been in it and I know that it's hard, but so is getting a 2400 on an sat or painting the fingernails of your dominant hand. Difficulty really isn't a good measure of what is a sport and what isn't, so can I get some good arguments please? And none of this "we practice more than any other sport" bullsh*t. I know you do, but that's only because you're not working as hard. Think about it, some honors students study for 5+ hours a night in addition to school. So why do you think it is? Or isn't?

Pregnancy test result a bit confusing..?

I would wait til tomorrow morning with first morning's urine and take a different test. First Response is a good one. If you get a positive it wouldnt just disappear. Also... one like on there will always show up no matter if your pregnant or not... its like the control line to insure you that the test worked. A second line will show up if it detects the HCG hormone.

Skin indentations bad sign?

When u press ur fingernail down does the indentation stay there for a while? But then I just noticed they go away after a min when I do it.
